Supper Time with Chef Tino

Over the past few years, our gala fundraiser typically takes place in the month of October in Dallas, Texas. With all the unknowns that COVID-19 has brought, we have decided to move the event to a virtual fundraiser, allowing people in different locations to participate in. We have teamed up with Chef Tino, a local chef who has a passion for food and loves to help make a difference!

About Chef Tino: Chef Tino opened his first restaurant in Puerto Rico (in partnership with his father) at the age of 15. His drive and desire for greater learning opportunities pushed Tino to embark on a series of travel around the world. These cultural experiences allowed Tino to enhance his knowledge while capturing different flavors that would later become fundamental in development of his own unique style.

Upon his return, Tino spent several years as a chef in top restaurants allowing him to hone his skills, including AZ with Chef Patricia Yeo, WWF with Chef Sean Guy and Planet Hollywood. In 2007, Tino opened his own Latin-Fusion restaurant in Isabela, Puerto Rico and quickly became a hub for local celebrities, sports personalities and public figures.

Chef Tino’s magnetic personality landed him regularly on Puerto Rico’s top network morning show “Entre Nosotras”, Food network’s roster, guest starring on several most popular shows here in the United States and more.

After tragically losing his home and business to Hurricane Maria in 2017, Tino relocated to Dallas with a goal of reaching new audiences and continuing to share his passion and zest for food and life.

We’re excited to give you the opportunity to have Chef Tino live and in person in your home or virtually through a cooking class. We have several different options to choose from, see full details below. Profits raised will help us to continue to provide fun and uplifting activities to children in hospitals throughout the US, while continuing to provide medical care to children in need in our third world locations.

Grab the family, friends, co-workers and anyone you haven’t seen in a while.

Let’s get to cooking for a great cause!
