Fall is Appealing!
With all the unknowns that have taken place across our country and our world we have all had to maneuver and adjust accordingly. As a nonprofit organization that provides both medical care and support to those going through treatment, we have had to work through county, state and federal regulations to adjust our outreach efforts to still meet the growing needs of those facing unforeseen medical circumstances.
Over the past few years, our gala fundraiser has taken place in the month of October in Dallas, Texas. With all the unknowns that COVID-19 has brought, we have decided to move the event to a virtual fundraiser, allowing people from different locations to participate. Included below is a highlight of the various activities taking place:
– currently we still have a limited number of spots available for Saturday, October 17th from 4-6pm. This is a virtual event, where you can join from the comfort of your home, Chef Tino through a google hangout meeting as he guides you on how to make a restaurant style 3 course meal. Recipe, ingredients and live session with Chef Tino are included in ticket prices. To learn more, click here
– we’re excited to bring this year’s silent auction to you virtually! The silent auction will go live on Saturday, October 17th and will run until Friday, October 23rd at 9pm CST. We have anything from meal prep, car detail, sports memorabilia, trips, etc. Get to bidding for a great cause! Click here for silent auction details. – the google hangout call will take place on Saturday, October 24th from 2-4pm. We’ll be providing an overview of what we have accomplished in the last year, winners of silent auction and much more. o $300 covers the cost to fund a dinner & activity for 80-115 people
o $150 covers the cost to make 50 hot meals for families
o $75 covers the cost for one of our activity nights
o $25 covers the cost to provide 12 children with a free health consultation, medications and immunization
